Rochester Century High School Athletics

Welcome to the 2024 Cross-Country season! 

First day of Practice will be on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 8:00am. Please meet at door 27, which is near the national volleyball center entrance. Wear your running shoes and don't forget a water bottle.   

You must be registered before you can start practice. Registration will be from July 30-August 6. Your physical must be up to date before you can register.  Please see the main athletics page (centurypanthers.org) for details on how to register and see if you are in need of a physical update.

We will be starting summer running Monday, June 10th at 8:00am. We will be meeting at the Silver Lake Playground area.  This is for returning runners and new runners to the team.  In fact, it is better to start now when we are easing into things with shorter runs. If you aren't sure about joining the team, this is also a perfect time to try it out during the summer months. Any questions, email coach Brent (brmcgrew@rochesterschools.org). 

It was a beautiful day in St. Paul for the Minnesota State Meet, and a big CONGRATULATIONS to Sophia Comfere and Addy Crow for running great races! Sophia finished in 32nd place in a time of 19:12, and Addy was 65th place with a time of 19:40.

Monday night to Tuesday morning: Team sleep over and secret buddy reveal. See info above for more details.

Wednesday, Nov 8: Team banquet.  We meet at 6:00PM in the North cafeteria at Century. This will be pot luck style, with about a 45 minute presentation.

Food assignments:

Seniors: Dessert

Juniors: Sides, veggies, fruit

Soph and Freshman: Main dishes

7 & 8th: Drinks

Hello parents and supporters of Century High School Girls Cross Country!

Every year we need to raise money to provide for the basics of girls CC, including:

• Race entry fees (usually between $75 and $200 each race)
• MSHSL coaches membership and staff development
• Incidentals such as PR Stars, Pep-ups, summer mileage awards and JV standard t-shirts, exercise equipment exclusive to girls CC.

We are reaching out to you ask for a voluntary donation of $25 per student athlete. If you would like to donate more, we will not turn it down!
