Saturday: Sections Finals at Lakeville South. Meet starts at 4:00. BE AT CENTURY AT 12:15 - BUS LEAVES AT 12:30!
You can do one day, or all the days! Every little bit helps us put on a great camp!
We've had several questions regarding an athlete's participation in club sports during the track season. Please let us know if you have further questions:
In an ideal world as track coaches, we’d prefer that varsity athletes not compete in a second sport at all during our competitive season. However, we realize that there are athletes who are involved in other sports, so we have come up with what we feel is a fair compromise. If you are a varsity athlete (or want to compete as a varsity athlete), you will focus on track solely for the time period of two weeks before our most important meets of the season (Big 9’s, Sections, State). This means two weeks before the Big 9 Conference Championships, our varsity athletes will not be practicing or playing in a second sport. This is our championship time of the season and we want our athletes to be as fresh as possible for these meets. So for the 2023 season, that would mean athletes need to be done with their second sport by May 15th.
Parents, athletes, friends - we are setting up a place where you can post pictures for everyone to look at! Please feel free to put any pictures from meets into the folders. We will make a new folder for every meet!
If you have signed up for girls track, you MUST join the CHSTF classroom. We will be posting important practice information there as well an informational form that you need to fill out. We will be running our daily announcements and sign ups through the classroom. The code is: gcwuocf. We are sharing this with the boys track team so be on the lookout for forms specifically marked for the girls!
We practice everyday starting at 3:40 and going until 5:00-5:15. There are activity busses that run from Kellogg/Dakota to Century. Until the weather warms up, we will be meeting in the National Volleyball Center. The girls are able to use the varsity locker room, which is located down the hall from Door 27. You are welcome to use the lockers but will need to provide your own lock. Please do not leave anything in the lockers unless you can lock it up!
All girls will need running shoes and workout clothes and for distance girls running outside, sweats, gloves, hats/headbands. The sprint group will practice inside until the temps warm up. We will post in the classroom if that changes.
Attendance at practice is required. If you are going to miss, please email or message the coaches. If you have an ongoing conflict with practice times, please be sure to discuss with Coach Allen. We are all excited to be starting the season! Please let us know if you have any questions!

2022 Century Girls Track and Field
As good as 2021 was, 2022 was even better! The Century girls were unstoppable this season! They won the All American Invite, took 2nd in the MSU relays, won the Austin Invite, missed True Team State by 2 points and they won the Big Nine Title by a whopping 100 points! We had an historic section meet - for the first time in Century's history, we sent all four of our relay teams to state!!! In addition we sent girls in the long jump, pole vault and the 800. Maddy Habberstad qualified in 4 events and finished All State in all four!! Penelopea Gordon ran a fabulous 800 to take third and she anchored two of our relays. All of our relays teams finished All-State, which is also a first for the program! Our 4 x 800 (Sophia Trabuco, Madison Ohm, Sophia Comfere and Penelopea Gordon) took third - outperforming their seed! Our 4 x 200 (Maddy Habberstad, Sarrah Lindner, Megan Lund and Addison Clarey) finished in 9th and also set a new school record this season. The 4 x 400 finished 9th (Kaia Berry, Sophia Comfere, Addison Clarey and Penelopea Gordon) Our 4 x 100, in spectacular come from behind finish, won the state title!!! Their time of 47.70 is a new school record and the 6th fastest time ever run in the state of MN. The team of Habberstad, Lindner, Lund and Favor Omoijuanfo also competed at the Nike National Meet, finishing in 4th!!! In addition to the the wonderful team recognition - Coach Allen was named the Girls AAA Track Coach of the Year for the state of MN.
It is an exciting time for Century Girl's track! We'll see you out there rain, shine or snow :)
