ATTENTION 2026 SPRING ATHLETES: REGISTER FOR YOUR HIGH SCHOOL SPRING SPORT (7th-12th graders): Online opens February 16th thru 26th (closes February 26th at the end of the day)
You will need to make sure that your physical is on file and up-to-date in the athletic/activities office and does NOT expire prior to June 10th or you will need to get a new one.
IF you cannot get in to your regular doctor, there are OTHER options in Rochester to get a physical completed. A PARENT is required to get these physicals done! Options for a physical are posted on the Century Panthers Athletic/Activities website.
Please go to the Athletic/Activities website to register.
If you have signed up for girls track, you MUST join the CHSTF classroom. We will be posting important practice information there, as well an informational form that you need to fill out. We will be running our daily announcements and sign ups through the classroom. The code is: gcwuocf. We are sharing this with the boys track team so be on the lookout for forms specifically marked for the girls!
This is our new travel release form! Hopefully it will make things easier. You can fill it out up to the day of the meet.
We practice everyday starting at 3:50 and going until 5:00-5:15. There are activity busses that run from Kellogg/Dakota to Century. Until the weather warms up, we will be meeting in the National Volleyball Center. The girls are able to use the varsity locker room, which is located down the hall from Door 27. You are welcome to use the lockers but will need to provide your own lock. Please do not leave anything in the lockers unless you can lock it up!
All girls will need running shoes and workout clothes and for distance girls running outside, sweats, gloves, hats/headbands. The sprint group will practice inside until the temps warm up. We will post in the classroom if that changes.
Attendance at practice is required. If you are going to miss, please email or message the coaches. If you have an ongoing conflict with practice times, please be sure to discuss with Coach Allen. We are all excited to be starting the season! Please let us know if you have any questions!
We've had several questions regarding an athlete's participation in club sports during the track season. Please let us know if you have further questions:
In an ideal world as track coaches, we’d prefer that varsity athletes not compete in a second sport at all during our competitive season. However, we realize that there are athletes who are involved in other sports, so we have come up with what we feel is a fair compromise. We have noticed a significantly higher instances of injury and fatigue as we get into May. If you are a varsity athlete (or want to compete as a varsity athlete), you will need to focus on track for during the most important meets of the season (True Team Big 9, Sections, State). This means our varsity athletes will not be practicing or playing in a second sport. This is our championship time of the season and we want our athletes to be as fresh as possible for these meets. So for the 2025 season, that would mean athletes need to be done with their second sport by May 5th.
And just like that, we are done with the 2025 track and field season. But what a season it was!! The Varsity had an unprecedented end to our season: Co-Conference Champions, Section Runners Up and finally a 7th place finish at the State Meet! It was our second best finish ever. Congratulations to all the athletes who competed for Century, both at State and during the regular season. We value our junior high and jv athletes and all they bring to the program, as well as our varsity contingent. We set several new school records this year: Mary Amusan in the shot put, Sophia Comfere in the 800, our 4 x 200 team of Clara Gerhard, Emily Bunce, Kaia Berry and Sophia Comfere and our 4 x 400 team of Kaia Berry, Emma Anderson, Emily Bunce and Sophia Comfere. Also competing at the State Meet for us was Nell Ferguson in the triple jump, Clara Gerhard in the 200, Sophia in the 800 and our first ever competitor in the 300h - Emma Anderson! We wish all of our graduating seniors the best and hope to see the rest of you back next year!
