Home of the "Navy Blue and Silver" Panthers.  Century High School was founded in the fall of 1997 and is one of three public high schools in Rochester, Minnesota.  The Century Activities Department hopes you find this web site helpful as you search our rich traditions.

Century Purpose Statement:
Century High School is a powerful community of students, coaches, and advisors.  As Panthers, we are motivated to be servant leaders to others and strive for excellence in all we do.  We lead by example on and off the playing surface in pursuit of success.  Respect and passion elevate us to greatness.

SPORTS PHYSICALS - ATTENTION 2020-21 ATHLETES:  Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine WILL NOT be hosting a one day physical date this summer.  Please plan to schedule a physical exam with your primary doctor OR visit Med Express before August 10, 2020.  Please take the MSHSL physical form with you.  Physical form can be found on your high school’s website (left hand side Tab FORMS).

Once you get your physical done, please email it to ME at defritz@isd535.org. 

Your updated physical needs to be on file in the Athletic/Activities Office at your high school BEFORE you can register online.  Physicals need to be current for the ENTIRE Fall Season in order to participate.


INDOOR/OUTDOOR CAMPS OR SAQ STUDENTS MUST FOLLOW COVID 19 GUIDELINES for grades 9 - 12:

  • Parent/Guardian will check the students temperature on a daily basis before attending an practice, camp or scrimmage.
  • If a students is ill, he/she MUST stay home!

Examples: (cough, fever, fatigue, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, nasal congestion or difficult breathing)

  • Bring your own water bottle (no drinking fountains available on campus)
  • No access to locker rooms or restrooms.
  • Students will be placed in Pods/Groups, once assigned to a Pod/Group he/she cannot change groups
  • S.A.Q. sessions are 90 minutes in length and the students should not conjugate before or after sessions
  • S.A.Q. workouts are five days a week starting June 15 and ending August 14 – No workout Friday, July 3
  • Wear a mask when not doing aerobics activities
  • Adhere to Minnesota Department of Health social distancing requirements
  • Understand the guidelines may change on a daily or weekly basis.

MOST IMPORTANTLY.... Please, please please keep your families and our athletes safe.  I can't wait to see them all again in our hallways, in our weight room, on our fields/courts and them just being kids again!!!

Dismissal Time

  • Players are dismissed 15 minutes prior to the bus departure time.
  • All players need to have their equipment at school ready to leave for the event. 
  • They will not be excused to run home and get their gear.
  • Middle School Students must be dismissed with a parent note at the Middle School Attendance Office.
  • Students serving a penalty for a violation should not be dismissed from school to attend away events.

Directions for finding physical date on Skyward

Sign on to skyward family access and look under the "Report Card & Portfolio" tab on left hand side of screen. This will be listed with all of the testing results and report cards.

You will need to have a copy of your physical in the Athletic/Activities Office BEFORE you can register online.  The new system will not let you register without this.
