*If you have a question about your specific sport, please check your team website (gray tab at top of page labeled Athletic Teams) for information and to contact the coach for questions about practice/tryouts and other pertinent information for the season.  The website will probably have the answer to your questions.


2025 SUMMER SAQ (Strength/Agility/Quickness) Weight Room

ATTENTION CURRENT 7th-12th GRADERS (2025-26 academic year)

Registration OPEN - May 13 - CLOSES Wed, June 11, 2025
 

  • Fee: $55.00 per student
  • IF Teams using weight room, each student is required to register
  • Sessions:  June 9 - July 31, 2025 (Monday through Thursday)
    (NO Sessions June 19 or June 30 - July 4)

2025 FALL BASELINE CONCUSSION TESTING

This IS MANDATORY for football, boys and girls soccer and girls divers (baseline testing needs to be done EVERY school year)

Thursday, July 31
9:00am = Boys Soccer
9:30am = Girls Soccer
10:00am = Girls Divers
10:30am = Football

Century High School - North Cafeteria

Baseline concussion testing needs to be completed BEFORE the student can practice/tryout on August 11. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Students NEED to download the Sway Medical app on their phone PRIOR to the testing date and have their phone fully charged for test day. The Athlete NEEDS to fill out the demographic information link and code provided here PRIOR to test day.

2025 FALL SPORTS ONLINE REGISTRATION

A copy of your physical needs to be on file in the Athletic/Activities Office PRIOR to the registration date listed or the system will not let you register.  You can locate your physical date in Skyward Family Access
(under the tab on the left - report cards/portfolio)

IF your physical expires between August 11 and November 24th, an updated copy needs to be submitted to the Athletic/Activities Office NO LATER THAN AUGUST 1 in order for you to register online.

DO NOT WAIT to schedule your physical. A copy of your physical NEEDS to be in our office NO LATER than Friday, Aug 1 in order to register online.  If you cannot get in with your regular doctor, see options below!

Online Registration will be July 29 - August 5 - LINK WILL BE POSTED IN JULY!

Mayo Clinic Sports Physicals Event - Saturday, July 26, 2025

Mayo Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine will be conducting pre-participation sports physicals on Saturday, July 26, between 8 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at our Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center facility.

  • This will be by Scheduled Appointments ONLY.
  • Cost is $20 by cash or check only will be required at the time of the appointment on July 26 when checking in.
  • One parent or guardian will be required to accompany the patient. Note that parent(s) or guardian(s) will be separated from patients during the examination.
  • Athletes or parents need to follow this link or QR code to complete a pre-scheduling form. The QR code is also on the attached flyer.

SPORTS PHYSICALS - ATTENTION 2024-25 ATHLETES:
You NEED to take the MSHSL physical form with you.  Physical form can be found BELOW.

Directions for finding physical date in Skyward
Sign in to your skyward family access and look under the "Report Card & Portfolio"This will be listed with all of the testing results and report cards.

You will need to have a copy of your physical (page 1) in the Athletic/Activities Office BEFORE you can register online.  The system will not let you register without this.

Once you get your physical done, please email page 1 to DeeAnn Fritz at defritz@rochesterschools.org

Your updated physical needs to be on file in the Athletic/Activities Office at your high school BEFORE you can register online.  Physicals need to be current for the ENTIRE Season in order to participate.

Dismissal Time

  • Players are dismissed 15 minutes prior to the bus departure time.
  • All players need to have their equipment at school ready to leave for the event. 
  • They will not be excused to run home and get their gear.
  • Middle School Students must be dismissed with a parent note at the Middle School Attendance Office.
  • Students serving a penalty for a violation should not be dismissed from school to attend away events.

Because it is web-based, we can provide you instant access to the most up-to-date information at all times. You can push schedules to your phone, tablet, or computer and they will automatically update with any changes. You can also sign up for instant notifications and reminders, via email or text message (notify me).  Click on the link below for a visual.  Click on the Big9 logo on the left hand side of the main website page, choose Rochester Century from the School Activity Calendar's tab.
