PAC MEETING FOR GIRLS TENNIS
The Pac meeting for girls tennis is at 6pm on the 17th. it will be followed by a tennis team meeting .
Sport Registration
Due to technical difficulties, the sport registration will not be open today and at least until tomorrow Thursday, July 27. Please visit www.centurypanthers.org on a daily basis for updates.

Practice for the season
Practice starts August 14th.
August 14th-16th, practice will be 9-11
August 17th practice will be at 4-5:30 followed by the PAC meeting.
Starting Monday August 21st to the end of the season (unless otherwise indicated) practice will be from 4-5:30
Sport Registration
Attention 2023 Fall Athletes:
Register For Tennis (Girls Fall Sport- 7th-12th graders). Online Opens Aug 1 and Closes August 7th, THIS WILL ONLY BE OPEN FOR THIS TIME FRAME.
You will need to make sure that your physical is on file and up-to-date in the Athletic/Activities Office and doe NOT expire prior to November25th or you will need to get a new one. The registration software will NOT allow you to register if you don't have one on file or will expire. The Athletic: Activities Office personnel will be checking email periodically from July 24-July 28 until August 1 (when we start back full time)
SUMMER TEAM GET TOGETHER
There will be a pre season bonfire on Friday July 7th at 7:00 at Lydia’s house. Players from last season and new players for this season are all encouraged to come! We will be starting captains practices soon after. If you will be playing this season, join the GroupMe in order to get more information. Please reach out to the captains at (507) 990-3996 with any questions. Hope to see you there!

2023 Uniform Top
The team tank top will just be white this year. Varsity does need to have the white tank top. JV can also purchase the white tank. Please look to the Google classroom for the links for tanks & skirts

We will be making daily announcements and weather updates through the classroom. We will send all email communication through their school emails. There is also a survey that needs to be filled out by everyone.
Tennis 2023Information
7/10/23 UPDATE:
The courts are open, take advantage of the great weather we are having and go hit. Don't forget, we have two backboards that can also be used for hitting!
The captains are organizing Captains Practice. Look to the GroupMe app and google classroom for information.
Sign up for girls tennis will open August 1 and close August 7th. If you are considering coming out for tennis for the first time, we'd like you to be able to play a match. You should know how to serve, keep a rally going, and know how to keep score. You don't need to have private lessons to do any of that! You will also need to have a good pair of tennis (court specific) shoes and a racquet to play.
Practice times will be the same as last year. Before the start of the school year 9-11 am and 4-5:30 once school starts.
This year depending on the numbers, we are considering having try-outs. In the past girls tennis has been a no-cut sport, but based on last years numbers that might change. We want the girls to have a positive experience and able to practice the whole time. This will be determined after registration.
We are looking forward to the start of the season.
