Varsity Labor Day Practice-TBD

TRYOUT INFORMATION-Start on August 12

Missing any part of tryouts jeopardizes your position with the team or squad  for which you were trying out.  Please plan ahead with possible conflicts.  

Tryouts are for players going into 8th grade through 12th grade. 

We currently not open for players going into 7th grade.  Please contact one of the club programs if you are a 7th grader looking to play this fall. 

PLEASE WEAR A LIGHT GREY SHIRT TO OUR FIRST TRYOUT PRACTICE. 

TRYOUT CRITERIA

  • Players will be evaluated on technical and tactical ability, fitness through 1v1 competitions, small and large group performance, attitude, work-ethic and coachable qualities.  
  • It is expected that players be on time, prepared to play with equipment on at the start of practice.
  • Missing any part of tryouts jeopardizes your position with the team or squad  for which you were trying out.  Please plan ahead with possible conflicts.  

WEEK 1: 2024 Tentative Tryout Schedule

Practice times may be adjusted due to heat, rain, etc. All tryouts/practices take place on the soccer fields behind Century past the tennis courts and football practice fields.

PLEASE WEAR A LIGHT GREY SHIRT TO OUR FIRST TRYOUT PRACTICE. 

DAY  1: MONDAY-AUG 12:

10th, 11th, 12th grade (and players who were on B team or JV last year)- Two practices per day: 8:00am - 10:00am AND 3:30pm - 5:30 pm.

8th and 9th grade - One practice per Day 10:00-11:30 am.  

DAY 2: TUESDAY-AUG 13

10th, 11th, 12th grade - Two per day: 8:00am - 10:00am AND 3:30pm - 5:30 pm. Tentative division of teams will be made.

8th and 9th grade - One practice per Day 10:00-11:30 am.

DAY 3: WEDNESDAY-AUG 14 

Varsity and JV - Two practices per day: 8:00am - 10:00am AND 3:30pm - 5:30 pm.-- 

8th and 9th grade - One practice per Day 10:00-11:30 am.

DAY 4: THURSDAY-AUG 15--

VARSITY AND JV - Two practices per day: 8:00am - 10:00am AND 3:30pm - 5:30 pm.

B TEAM-TBD

8th and 9th grade - One a Day 10:00-11:30 am.

PAC MEETING-6:00 PM. 

DAY 5: FRIDAY-AUG 16

VARSITY AND JV - Two practices per day: 8:00am - 10:00am AND  tentative 3:30pm - 5:30 pm

B TEAM-To Be Determined

8th and 9th grade - One a Day 10:00-11:30 am. 

DAY 6: SATURDAY-AUG 17

JAMBOREE SCRIMMAGE for all varsity and invited junior varsity players at Fuad Monsoor Fields. 9:30-1:00 pm. 

PRACTICE TIMES ONCE SCHOOL BEGINS-TBD

Tentative--When school resumes, practice times for each level will generally occur as follows: 

V: 4:00-6:00

JV: 4:00-5:30

B: 4:00-5:30

9A: 4:00-5:30
