The team went undefeated in dual meets during this time with a record of 123-0. The Minnesota Boys State dual meet record is unofficially 125-0, St Thomas Academy in the 1990s. The National record, again unofficial, is 164-0 from a team in southern California.
This streak was an amazing legacy to participate in for all team members, however it is not our reason for being and is quite a fairy tale.
No one wins all the time! When our 13-year streak ended in December of 2016, we simply started over again!
Our teams' success has continued to today with a few more than a year 'streaks' in play often. However, we will remain starting each season 0-0 and have to earn each win; which becomes more and more difficult as other teams grow and develop.
The Century boys have a target on our backs!
We still have dedicated and talented athletes who have achieved success in winning and leadership and this is our true legacy.
