Lettering Criteria

Century Boys Swim Team

 

Earning a Varsity Letter can be achieved by being named to the Big 9 Conference Championship (Varsity) team and/or the Section 1AA Championship (Varsity) Team.  This is accomplished by being one of the top 4 fastest times or top divers in an individual event or to be a member of one of the relays as determined by the coaches. 

 

Academic or athletic/team sanctions will negate earning a Varsity letter.  Reminder:  All practices and meets are mandatory and missing any will impact the athletes' ability to earn a letter.

 

A Letter can also be earned by swimming one or more of the time standards below:

 

200 FR  2:10.99
200 IM   2:30.00
50 FR      :26.99
100 FL  1:10.99
100 FR    :58.99
500 FR  5:50.99
100 BK  1:07.99
100 BR  1:20.99
