Fall Season

Captain's practices are optional and run by the team captains.  They are open to everybody.  No registration is required; just show up to the practices and see if High School Bowling is for you.

Captains practices start Aug 15.

2023 schedule:

Practice will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-5:15, starting August 15th at Bowlocity. 

These are considered optional until Aug 29, when we can start coaching (preseason practices). Practices are mandatory for active team members and will be used to determine Varsity and JV the 1st few weeks of the regular season. If you are unable to attend any of the practices, please notify the coaches.

The schedule for the weekly matches typically runs on Saturdays from the first week of September through the first week of November.  Usually there aren't any matches over MEA weekend.

The 2023 Season starts Sept 9th. Conference Roll-offs will be Oct 28th. State bowling is Nov 18th - Dec 2nd.

At the larger bowling centers (Rochester and Austin), the JV and Varsity start at the same time, usually 12 pm, and finish around 3:00 pm. Some locations start at 9am. For the smaller centers (Hayfield and Stewartville) The varsity bowls first at 12pm or 1, followed by the JV at 3pm, finishing around 5:00 pm.

Students/Parents are responsible for travel to and from the weekly matches. Let us know if you need a ride.

Post season play is required and usually involves travel.

  12/9: Boys/Girls State Singles

Students/Parents are responsible for travel to and from post season matches. The only excused absences are for illness or family emergency.
